In addition to the adrenaline you feel, the view and the feeling of freedom you encounter when you take to the sky are incredible. It has no other equivalent in the world. There are a few important rules to be considered for the activity carried out in Fethiye Oludeniz and these rules are vital. First of all, muscle strength and wind are needed for flight. Those who want to do it as an amateur can fly with one of the trained pilots in the region. However, if your goal is to become a professional and stay in the air for hours, you can attend the Turkish Aeronautical Association's free and certified paragliding course.

Paragliding Rules

There are some rules to avoid endangering yourself and the pilot flying with you;

• In flights accompanied by a pilot, the pilot's instructions must be followed and individual movements must be avoided.
• Wearing a life jacket and helmet is mandatory.
• A first aid kit should be kept before flying.
• Training should be given and received when weather conditions are suitable.
• It can be done with a maximum of 2 people.
• It is mandatory to have a spare parachute and a rescue boat in tandem flights.
• If possible, the wind required for paragliding should be measured before flying, and if there is availability, the flight should start.
• Clothes should be comfortable.
• It should not be done if you have any physical or mental illness (pregnant, heart disease, blood pressure).
• It should never be accompanied by an alcoholic pilot.
• The age limit is 16.
