Manavgat is a river town: the Manavgat River runs through its centre, tumbles over the famous Manavgat Waterfall and is lined with boat trips and riverside restaurants. Manavgat River or Köprülü River?

The Manavgat River is calm and wide near the town, perfect for a relaxing boat ride to the sea. The Köprülü River is narrower and faster, running between canyon walls, and it is the one used for rafting. Both are cold, clear and fed by the Taurus Mountains.
